The successful candidate will be contacted and provided information that will include a start date, job description, directions, contact information and advice about appropriate attire.
Candidates will be asked to provide contact details for references who can confirm their work experience. References will be contacted and asked to comment on the candidate’s skills and experience in relation to the position they have applied for. Police clearance may be a mandatory requirement for some positions. These reference checks will not be completed until the candidate has been selected to proceed in the recruitment process.

Matrix Professional Staffing Solutions Inc. maintains an extensive database of candidates to choose from because of the variety of qualifications, personalities and priorities necessary for the right matches for our clients. To maintain our candidate database, we use a variety of sources.
We review submitted resumes to identify the candidate’s strongest skill sets. Analysis of resumes and other application materials will verify whether the candidate has all the required qualifications. If the candidate’s skills do not directly match our current openings, we will save their resume and consider their skills when future requirements arise and contact them if there is a match.
Resumes are forwarded to the client including results from reference checks and test scores. We will follow up with clients with the objective of obtaining a candidate interview.
All candidates must complete an application form and participate in an interview and skill testing session prior to being considered for an assignment. You will receive a confidential link to the Matrix Corporate Intranet site. We will contact the candidate directly for an initial interview if they meet the selection criteria. We will also obtain the necessary information required to successfully market the candidate. During this stage, we will have the opportunity to find out more about the candidate while they will have the opportunity to learn more about the position they have applied for. Candidates will be required to participate in a selection of job-related skills tests to determine suitability for the position applied for.
